Discovering Spirit From Within
Dive Into Your Self
The human spirit is as enigmatic as imagination itself. The depth of discourse from one soul to another is so striking that it stretches the bounds of our ability to reason. Through acts of introspection and personal development we may be fortunate enough to find ourselves able to encompass more within our perspective. Certain practices such as Yoga, Meditation, and the learned teachings of previous great minds are all powerful tools along this path.
Imagination
Among the many paths to enlightenment rests the discipline of Yoga. This ancient journey was forged through the discovery and exploration of human spirit. Imagine if every person alive were to spend 90 minutes a day carefully examining how their minds processed information, how foods affected mood—imagine the depth of insight we'd have into the nature of human spirit. This approach was much more common years past and the distractions of today have surmounted. Nevertheless, a rekindling of spiritual endeavor is as innate and possible as anything else within the bounds of imagination. Someone great might have once said, "it is possible because I can imagine it."
Yoga
The experience of spirit, or direct connection and free-floating resonance, is found through nearly any avenue in life. Repetition allows us to exit our normal confines and observe the subtle—where the truly miraculous is found. Bruce Lee once said that he feared no many who practiced 10,000 different kicks, but was ultimately leery of the one who practiced a single kick 10,000 times! When Bruce connected to the universe, he called it Entering the Dragon. His personal interpretation is as unique as his fingerprint and just as real also. The ancient arts of combat and yoga are dynamic systems through which we can focus on the increasingly smaller aspects of life, and our experience of it. Different Yogis through the years have practices many different types of yoga all with different goals. Modern types of yoga such as Bikram (hot yoga), Acroyoga, and Aerial yoga aren't the same types as those practiced by Yogis. They certainly serve a purpose—but for only a few is that enlightenment and self discovery.
